Utah National Parks Group Experience Highlights
Moab, Utah has some of the best outdoor activities in the US. This adventure offers a one-of-a-kind experience that marries these outdoor activities with two spectacular National Parks, Arches and Canyonlands.
The groups experience begins with an unforgettable Colorado River whitewater rafting trip on class III and class IV rapids beneath towering canyon walls. Guests will stay in a 5-star resort set on the banks of the river, from which they will be able to hike the Fishers Towers Trail through one of the Utah’s most bizarre landscapes. The area is a maze of soaring rock fins, pinnacles, minarets, gargoyles, spires, and other strangely shaped formations. The towers, soaring monuments to erosion, are composed of dark red Cutler sandstone topped by harder Moenkopi sandstone and draped with mud curtains. During their stay at the resort, guests will enjoy all its amenities; like SUPing and kayaking on the Colorado River, horseback riding in the canyons, or just relaxing with a spa treatment.
From the resort, the group will head to Arches National Park to stay in a glamping lodge near the entrance to the park. There they will hike through the fiery reds and breathtaking blues of the park including an amazing view of the iconic red-hued Delicate Arch.
On their trip, they will also visit the expansive Canyonlands National Park. This remarkable landscape was formed over the centuries by the Green and Colorado rivers as they carved their way through the landscape creating wave after wave of deep canyons, towering mesas, pinnacles, cliffs, and spires stretching across 527 square miles. Guests will get the best view of the park from Island in the Sky, a mesa that rests on sheer sandstone cliffs over 1,000 feet above the surrounding terrain.
Guests will enjoy two very different, premium lodging experiences. First, they will stay at a 5-star western-style river resort with all the amenities; including a spa, fine-dining, horseback riding, and river activities. For the second half of the trip, the group will try glamping. This isn’t the glamping made famous at music festivals. It is a luxury camping lodge adjacent to the entrance of Arches and close to Canyonlands. The group will sleep in in comfort in canvas-style safari tents with plush beds and wood-burning stoves.
Guests will arrive/ depart through Grand Junction, CO Regional Airport (GJT). American, United, Delta and Allegiant all service Grand Junction with non-stop service to/from Denver, Dallas, Los Angeles, Phoenix and Salt Lake City.
