Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks Group Experience Highlights
Southwestern Utah’s Bryce Canyon & Zion National Parks are two of the most geologically interesting and stunningly beautiful places on earth. Stand among the soaring spires, free-standing arches, and magical hoo-doo rock formations that are part of this spectacular landscape. Guests will get up close and personal with this enchanted land, 240 million years in the making, on this hike-centric adventure.
In Zion, guests will go on two of the most famous hikes in the United States. First, is the Narrows, which was ranked by National Geographic as one of America’s best adventures. The group will gear up with their guides to spend the day walking in and wading through the Virgin River. The sheer walls of the slot canyon will tower above them as they walk past waterfalls, natural springs, and hanging gardens. The group will also take in the stunning views from Angels Landing. This is not a hike for the faint of heart, it features a multitude of switch-backs, sheer drop-offs, and awe-inspiring cliffs. Guides will be on hand, of course, to ensure that guests are kept comfortable and safe.
Even though Zion is the park the grabs the headlines in this part of the country, and is at the heart of groups experience on this trip, Bryce Canyon should not be overlooked. Guests will embark on a day hike among the magical hoodoo rock formations of the Peek-A-Boo and Queens Garden trails, two of Bryce’s most famous walks. The park is simply spectacular and we would not want your groups to miss this truly incredible landscape!
Guests will arrive and depart from St. George Regional Airport (SGU). SGU is served by American, Delta and United with direct flights from Denver, Phoenix, Los Angeles and Salt Lake City. Las Vegas International Airport (LAS) is approximately a two-hour drive from St. George and can be used as an alternative. In this scenario, lodging changes would likely be needed on the front/ back ends of the trip.
The group will stay in a unique boutique hotel in St George, Utah on both ends of the trip. The hotel provides a perfect setting for guests to gather prior to embarking on their adventure and unwind before their trip home. On the second and third nights of their adventure, the group will stay in a hotel perched atop a knoll with sweeping panoramic views, located near the entrance of Zion National Park.
